# The W14 Hotel

> Four Victorian town houses on Gunterstone Road, a residential street in West Kensington. The stucco fronts, the pillared porches and the tall sash windows are all still there — and behind the red and yellow doors at 16–22 the rooms have been taken back and rebuilt. Every room has a Hypnos bed and an en suite with a rain shower and eco-friendly toiletries. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout the building, and there is a tea and coffee tray in every room. Reception is staffed around the clock and stores luggage free of charge, before check-in and after check-out. There are soft drinks and bottled beers at the desk, and tourist information and attraction tickets if you want them. West Kensington and Barons Court Underground stations are both about five minutes' walk, which puts the District and Piccadilly lines at the end of the road and Heathrow around thirty minutes away.
